Curriculum night, held this past Monday, allowed students to prepare for next year’s enrollment. Students–current and rising–and parents came to learn about the classes offered at Northwest.

“(The curriculum fair) shows you what classes you can take and what it offers for the future,” junior Jenna Ginther said.

Classes from each department set up stations around the cafeteria and media center where they gave information about their classes and the benefits students gain when they take each class.

“It allows (students) to see options they may not have known about before,” junior Parris Stankewich said. “They are able to get a deeper understanding about what classed (may offer).”

The curriculum fair also benefits classes because students, especially rising freshman, may have discovered courses they didn’t know existed or were offered at Northwest.

Curriculum night also gave students an opportunity to learn more about the dual enrollment program students can take.

“Curriculum night is important,” Stankewich said. “Students get the opportunity to learn about all (Northwest offers).”
