Northwest Horizons

Val Orozco
I am Val Orozco, a senior and a staff writer for Northwest Horizons. I'm a type-one diabetic but I don't let that stop me from playing  field hockey and lacrosse at the school.  I've always wanted to join journalism because I enjoy reading and writing about current events and opinions of different kinds of people. Wherever I end up for college, I want to major in political science and languages. I want to use my major to travel all over the world and help create better diplomatic relations between nations.
