Northwest Horizons

Shalini Sharma
I’m a senior, and I’m proud to be the Editor-in-Chief for Northwest Horizons this year. In my three years on staff, journalism has taught me much more than just how to write; it has taught me how to speak up for issues that matter to me. In addition to writing, I also love volunteering at Ten Thousand Villages where I help sell the products of impoverished artisans from around the world, enabling them to make a living in their own countries and educate their children. Also, I watch Netflix pretty much all the time, with my favorite series being That 70s Show.
