Northwest Horizons

Reece Gentry
Hey there. I'm Reece, a sophomore and staff writer for Northwest Horizons. When I made the decision to take journalism, I kept thinking about how much I love writing and telling stories, hoping that I could transform it into something even more amazing. Being a journalist means that I can tell people about things that they didn't know before and change them with my writing in a positive way. Other than being a newborn journalist, my hobbies include singing, playing the violin (since 6th grade) and listening to music. I am very musically inclined! I also like to consider myself an expert binge-watcher. If you asked me to choose a career right now, I would probably say that I have no idea, but my ambitions are to either pursue music in some way, become a writer, a meteorologist, or become a missionary and travel the world. Told you I'm not sure. I am excited to see what this opportunity has to offer. Look for my name in the paper, it may pop up once or twice!
